HealthRock is committed to preserving children’s right to privacy. It does not collect identifying information about You (such as Your name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless You voluntarily submit that information to us through our Contact Us page, our newsletter subscription pages, or other means. No identifying information of any kind is collected through our Ask Doc Rock™ question submission, which is intended for use by children.

This site does not use cookies. Site statistics are collected on a per-use basis but are only viewed in aggregate. The Contact Us page is the primary means for a website visitor to communicate with the HealthRock® staff. You may use the Contact Us page to obtain licensing information, commission new works, contact Doc Rock™ for an interview or media event, investigate a collaboration with HealthRock, or send content suggestions or questions about areas of the site directly to the editorial staff. Website visitors may also use this form to ask general questions about the Website or content, submit notification of broken links, communicate privacy concerns, and/or submit praise and/or complaints. Visitors with general health questions can also contact the editorial staff via the Ask Doc Rock page. Never delay seeking your doctor’s advice because of something you have read on the HealthRock site. All comments are reviewed by the HealthRock staff who handle all content-related issues and will use these comments to improve the site, generate new content or answering a question in the Ask Doc Rock section on the site. We do read all emails and try to answer them in a timely manner, but are not always able to do so. If several emails are similar, we typically answer representative questions, but only those related to health and wellness. All technical and operational issues are forwarded to the Webmaster for handling. Information submitted through the Contact Us page is deleted once the appropriate staff reads it.
The email addresses of individuals who opt-in to our newsletter programs are the only personally identifiable information actively collected by HealthRock, and they are used only for delivering our newsletters. These email addresses are not typically viewed unless the database is experiencing some problem. Email addresses may be removed from our list by using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of each newsletter.
HealthRock is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of children. Its Kids section is intended to be a safe, fun, useful, age-appropriate resource for children under 13 to find information about health. HealthRock does not sell the information sent to it. HealthRock does not advertise third-party products to children or anyone else. We do not collect any personally identifiable information from children. HealthRock does offer an opt-in Email newsletter as a service that informs visitors of new content on the site. Visitors may sign up for the newsletter through a form that collects only an email address and first name (to personalize the greeting). No other information about the visitor is collected. Sometimes, children write HealthRock with a personal medical question. As stated elsewhere, HealthRock does not collect email addresses on the question form and does not respond directly. If a question is answered on the site, any personal identifying information which may be included in the question will be removed before the answer is posted. The questions are answered as health education only and are not intended as medical advise, diagnosis or treatment. HealthRock takes no responsibility to respond and/or may not be able to respond to a user’s medical emergency. If you think you or your child may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.
HealthRock welcomes Your comments on its site and content.
